ABOUT THE EVENT

A full one day summer camp for children with any mental, physical, or developmental disabilities to enjoy different therapeutic activities involving horses, art, and theatre alongside trained professionals. The event is entirely free to the children and families in attendance and will max out at 15-20 children. One parent or guardian must be present throughout the day for each child. All supplies will be provided, including t-shirts, food, snacks, drinks, art supplies, horse equipment, theatre props and costumes, etc. After a welcome from the Camp Willow team, the morning will start with learning about, grooming and walking the horses with S.M.I.L.E. Inc. staff. Then a healthy lunch will be provided with arts and crafts following that is led by a local art organization. The children will get to make creations to take home to remember the day. The rest of the afternoon will consist of learning about theatre, playing acting games, and putting on a show on an outdoor stage for the children's guests.
