Support Camp Willow during the Big Give and come out to District Table and Tap on Sunday, May 19th! 20% of proceeds all day long will go to supporting Camp Willow. From 9 AM to 2 PM there will be bottomless mimosas, a waffle bar, and breakfast pizzas! District will close at 10 PM, so don’t miss out!
Campers, parents/guardians, and siblings are invited to our Poppy’s community event and will have their admission costs covered by Camp Willow! Enjoy community and fun-filled events at your own pace, and feel free to stay as long as you and your family would like. Please note, at least one identified adult is required to be in attendance with the Camper throughout the duration of this time.
RSVP by October 13th with your Camper’s name and number of guests on our ‘Application’ page. One of our team members will reach out to confirm your RSVP for this event once the application is received.

Parents/guardians are invited to a connections meetup during the kids’ art class. This is a time to relax, mingle, and connect with each other.

Join us at S.M.I.L.E. for equine therapy. Please note that there will be no riding the horses, but Campers will get to interact with the horses alongside a trained staff. Please note that a parent/guardian is required to be on-site throughout the duration of this event.

Summer Camp is ON! It’s going to be filled with music, art, horses, and theatre! As usual, there will also be a parent/guardian connections group and everything is completely free to our Campers and their families! Official schedule times are sent out to Campers once applications are reviewed and are no longer pending.
A free week of in-person and virtual events for our Campers and their families! Includes a parent/guardian workshop guided by a mental health counselor, a music therapy workshop, an art class, a theatre workshop, and an ice cream social!
Each event is optional, and Campers are not required to attend all of the events to join the fun! Apply by filling out the form on the ‘Application’ tab.
On the day of the Norfolk Area Big Give, District Table and Tap will be donating 20% of proceeds to Camp Willow!

We have a free virtual music therapy workshop coming up for our Campers + families! Camp Willow has teamed up with Music Speaks for their team to provide a music therapy workshop for you all!

A summer camp for children with any mental, physical, or developmental disabilities to enjoy different therapeutic activities involving horses, art, music, and theatre alongside trained professionals. The event is entirely free to the children and families in attendance and will max out at 15-20 children. All supplies will be provided, including t-shirts, food, snacks, drinks, art supplies, horse equipment, theatre props and costumes, etc. Parents also get the opportunity to come together for their own seminar. Please note that this is not an overnight camp. More exciting new information and the official schedule to come soon!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to current circumstances and the health of our Campers with compromised immune systems, Camp Willow will not be in person this year. We will be specially delivering and mailing at-home Camp Kits with each activity and aspect of Camp included with directions, how-to videos, supplies, and more! You may still use the usual registration application to be applicable to receive a Camp Kit!

Norfolk Area Big Give is a 24-hour period of giving where Norfolk area supporters are invited to give back to their favorite local charities and educate themselves on other non-profits in our community. Please join us virtually and consider donating to Camp Willow to help raise funds for our local children with special needs and their families to come together for Camp this year for free to experience horses, art, theatre, and music therapies and activities. You can donate directly on our website via the ‘Donate’ tab.
Camp Willow is entirely volunteer and donation driven, so every dollar makes a difference in the lives of these children and families! Thank you for your support.

A full one day summer camp for children with any mental, physical, or developmental disabilities to enjoy different therapeutic activities involving horses, art, and theatre alongside trained professionals. The event is entirely free to the children and families in attendance and will max out at 15-20 children. One parent or guardian must be present throughout the day for each child. All supplies will be provided, including t-shirts, food, snacks, drinks, art supplies, horse equipment, theatre props and costumes, etc. After a welcome from the Camp Willow team, the morning will start with learning about, grooming and walking the horses with S.M.I.L.E. Inc. staff. Then a healthy lunch will be provided with arts and crafts following that is led by a local art organization. The children will get to make creations to take home to remember the day. The rest of the afternoon will consist of learning about theatre, playing acting games, and putting on a show on an outdoor stage for the children's guests.
Come out to eat and have a good time at Big Red on May 21st between 12 and 8 PM.
20% of profits during those hours will be given to Camp Willow to support local children with disabilities and their families to come to Camp for free this summer and experience horse, art, and theatre therapy!

The Norfolk Arts Center is partnering with Camp Willow to raise money for the summer camp for children with disabilities by hosting a fundraiser “sip and paint” class. Come join us and learn to paint a scenic sunset while sipping wine.
There are two times available for this event with a limited number of spots in each. 21+ only will be able to apply. Membership discounts do not apply for this class.
